How planning works with me

Almost 30 years of wedding days, built into one easy plan.

I’ve put almost 30 years of wedding-day experience into making your day as smooth and seamless as possible. Every couple I book gets a private planning space that asks the right questions at the right time, so nothing gets missed and nobody’s scrambling on the day.

What almost 30 years teaches you

Every part of this started as a wedding-day problem I’ve watched happen.

Most wedding stress isn’t the big stuff. It’s little things nobody wrote down. So I wrote them all down, and turned them into a plan you can fill in from your couch.

  1. Family photos turn into a hunt for Uncle Gord.

Now you tell me who’s who ahead of time. I build the order: grandparents and little ones first, so they can sit down or run off.

  2. The sun sets during speeches.

Your timeline pulls the real sunset for your date and town, and pencils golden hour in for you.

  3. “Turn left at the second approach past the bins.”

Pin every spot on a map, with rural directions in the notes. Your vendors will never get lost again.

  4. Your phone blows up with guest questions.

Your guests get a simple wedding website with the schedule, directions and FAQ, at the same link.

One link, start to finish

From “are you free?” to your finished films.

You get one private web address with both your names in it. It grows with you.

  1. 01

A fun survey, not a sales call

About three minutes. Your date, your town, your people, and a few important questions about the dance floor. I send availability and a quote by email.

  2. 02

    Your own page

I build a page just for you two, with the collections that fit what you told me. Pick one and I’ll send your contract. Read it and sign it online.

  3. 03

    Your planning portal

Once you’ve signed, the planning opens up. Fill it in whenever, in any order. It saves as you go, and I see it all.

  4. 04

Your wedding website, then your films

Before the wedding, that link is a website for your guests. After it, the same link is where your films live.

Take a look inside

Your planning portal

Built for phones first, because let’s be honest, that’s where wedding planning happens. Here’s a made-up couple, Hannah & Brody, to show you around.

Portal home screen with a countdown, a progress ring at 89 percent, and the usual weather and sunset for the wedding date

Home

Everything in one place, with a countdown

See how far along you are, what’s left, and what your wedding date usually looks like weather-wise, with the sunset time. No logins. Just your private link.

Why: couples tell me the hardest part is knowing what they’ve forgotten. Now there’s a checklist that fills itself in.

Timeline with dinner, speeches, golden hour photos highlighted, first dance and Fishin’ in the Dark

Timeline

Your day, hour by hour

Change a time and everything slides into place. I pull the real sunset for your date and town, and golden hour is already pencilled in. Trust me on this one.

Why: a timeline that works for photos and film is something I’ve built hundreds of times. Now you start with mine instead of a blank page.

Family photo order: grandparents first with chairs ready, then the kids, then parents photographed separately

Family photos

The most hectic 30 minutes of the day, sorted

Add your people, tell me who needs a chair, and I build the photo order: grandparents and kids first, the big group last. There’s a private spot for family dynamics too. Divorced parents, someone you’re honouring who’s passed, who shouldn’t stand together. No judgement. Just names.

Why: nobody wants a guest to feel awkward or left out in the family photos. Knowing ahead of time means I can handle it quietly.

A map with pins for getting ready, the ceremony, photo spots and a secret spot only Grandpa knows

Map pins

Even the spot only Grandpa knows

Drop pins for getting ready, the ceremony, the reception, where you’re staying and that hill with the best sunset in the county. Gravel-road directions are welcome in the notes.

Why: out here, half the best spots don’t have an address.

Seating chart with unseated guests and tables showing how many seats are filled

Seating chart

Tap a name. Tap a table.

Paste your guest list, add round or long tables, and seat people with a tap or a drag. Keep the feuding cousins apart. I won’t ask.

Why: it also tells me where Grandma is sitting during the speeches, so I can catch her reaction.

Song choices for walking down the aisle, walking back up married, the grand entrance and the first dance

Music, people & your story

The things that make your film yours

Your aisle song, first dance and last song of the night. The people I should know (who’s Grandma, who’s the uncle with the polka). How you met, and the proposal story. Who cried?

Why: the best films come from knowing what matters to you before I ever press record.

A wedding website for guests with the couple’s names, date and a welcome message

For your guests

A wedding website at the same link

Pick a style, add a welcome note, choose which parts of the schedule and which places guests see, then add your registry and FAQ. Turn it on when you’re ready. Your secret spots never show up.

Why: fewer “where do I park?” texts on the morning of your wedding.

What you won’t have to do

Less admin. More engaged.

  • Book a sales call to find out if I’m free
  • Print, sign and scan a contract
  • Download an app or remember a password
  • Group-text 40 relatives about family photos
  • Wrestle a seating chart spreadsheet
  • Pay for a separate wedding website

“My real job on your wedding day isn’t holding a camera. It’s keeping the stress away from you, so you can be in the moment. After almost 30 years of wedding days, I know where things go sideways. This is how I make sure they don’t.”
