Why I’m doing this
A thank-you, almost 30 years in the making.
I’ve spent almost 30 years at weddings. Community halls, farmyards, churches and wheat fields, all over Saskatchewan. I’ve watched dads get through speeches they were terrified to give, grandmas out-dance everyone, and groomsmen tie their ties around their heads the second “Fishin’ in the Dark” comes on.
Every one of those days happened because a couple trusted me with it. This giveaway is my way of saying thank you, and of meeting the couples whose stories come next.

The fine print, in plain English
Do I have to like or share anything to enter?
No. The form is the only way to enter, and it’s all you need to do. If you want to like, follow or pass it along to an engaged friend, I’d love that, but it doesn’t change your odds.
What if my date is already booked?
If you win and I’m already booked on your date, you can pick any other open date in 2027 or 2028. If that doesn’t work for you, I’ll draw another winner.
How does the $500 off work?
Every eligible couple who enters can take $500 off any Whitetail Films collection, photo + film, film only or photo only, when they book with a signed contract and retainer by November 30, 2026. One per couple, and it can’t be combined with other offers.
We haven’t picked a date yet. Can we still enter?
Yes. Just pick the year (2027 or 2028). If you win, we’ll lock in a date I have open.
We’re getting married outside Saskatchewan.
This one is just for Saskatchewan weddings. I travel though, so send me a message and we’ll talk.

This giveaway is for couples who haven’t booked yet. If you’re already booked, thank you! You’re the reason I get to do this.
Official rules
- Sponsor. The Road to 30 Giveaway (the “Contest”) is run by Thom Hamilton, Whitetail Films, Regina, Saskatchewan (hello@whitetailfilms.net).
- Contest period. Starts October 19, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. and ends October 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time (Saskatchewan time).
- Eligibility. Open to legal residents of Canada who are 18 or older, who are engaged to be married, and whose wedding takes place in Saskatchewan in 2027 or 2028. Couples who already have a contract with Whitetail Films, and Whitetail Films’ immediate family, are not eligible.
- How to enter. Complete the entry form at whitetailfilms.net/giveaway during the Contest period. One entry per couple; extra entries are disregarded. Liking, following or sharing on social media is not required and does not earn extra entries.
- Prize. One (1) grand prize: the Whitetail Films “All My Heart” wedding photo + film collection, approximate retail value $5,395 CAD, with GST and PST covered by the Sponsor and no travel fees within Saskatchewan. The prize is for the winning couple’s 2027 or 2028 Saskatchewan wedding, subject to the Sponsor’s availability on the chosen date. Not transferable, and no cash alternative. The winner may choose a lower-value collection instead, with no cash difference. Upgrades and add-ons outside the collection are the winner’s responsibility.
- Draw. On November 2, 2026, one eligible entry will be selected at random from all eligible entries received. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
- Skill-testing question. Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must have correctly answered a mathematical skill-testing question, without assistance. It’s asked on the entry form.
- Winner contact. The selected entrant will be contacted by email and/or phone and must respond within seven (7) days and sign the Sponsor’s standard wedding contract. If they can’t be reached, are ineligible, or the Sponsor is unavailable on every date they can choose, another entry may be drawn.
- Entrant offer. Every eligible entrant may receive $500 CAD off any Whitetail Films wedding collection for a 2027 or 2028 Saskatchewan wedding, booked with a signed contract and retainer by November 30, 2026. Subject to availability. One per couple. Not combinable with other offers or with the grand prize, and not redeemable for cash.
- Privacy. Personal information is used only to run the Contest and to contact entrants about their wedding. It is not sold or shared.
- Publicity. The winner’s first names may be announced with their permission.
- General. The Sponsor may cancel, suspend or modify the Contest if it can’t run as planned, subject to applicable law. This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or Meta.
